Participants were asked where they wanted to be at that moment. Answers ranged from the mundane, exotic to sometimes near impossible. Images of these destinations were projected onto a screen, with the participant standing in front of it. These scenes allowed subjects to be photographed on location, without actually having to be there. The images pose questions in regards to their authenticity, while creating a surreal narrative.
A participatory project inspired by photographer Cindy Sherman’s Rear Screen Projections.
